MENU OF TRAINING

My Life My Choice offers introductory and advanced workshops about the sex industry and its devastating impact. Trainings aim to increase victim identification and improve provider response to exploited youth. Audiences include, but are not limited to, law enforcement; child protective services workers, school personnel, and medical providers.

Advanced Clinical Training: Developing Skills and Strategies to Providing Effective, Trauma Informed Clinical Services to Sexually Exploited Youth

The MLMC Advanced Clinical Training is designed for mental health professionals, program based clinicians, DCF workers, community-based therapists, in home therapy teams and private practice clinicians that are serving youth who have been commercially sexually exploited.

Residential Leadership Institute: Advanced Training for Leaders on Creating a Safe, Effective and Supportive Environment for Sexually Exploited Girls

This training is for congregate care and residential program leadership staff looking to improve policies, staff training, and practices around serving commercially sexually exploited youth.

A new training in collaboration by My Life My Choice and Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts: Making the Connection: Sexual Health for Commercially Sexually Exploited Youth

Commercially sexually exploited youth experience extreme trauma. This can impact their ability to build healthy relationships and exercise their bodily autonomy within intimate relationships. Further, victims of the commercial sexual exploitation of children often feel misunderstood in traditional sexual health education and outreach program settings.
